To mark Mother’s Day, the team from Daren Persson, North Shields, asked people to nominate somebody special to be in with a chance of winning a day of treats.
Entrants had to describe their special someone in no more than 500 words, and the winners were picked by Kerry who works at Ruby’s Florists next door to the branch.
Prizes ranged from a £20 cash prize to a meal for two voucher and more, which were donated from Sambuca Percy Main restaurant, Ruby’s Flowers, Hallmark, Room, Thorntons, Royal Quays Beauty Outlet and Boots Silverlink Retail Park.
Funeral Director Les Ann Anderson said: “Thank you to the many companies who donated prizes for the competition.
“We were so surprised at how many nominations we received, so another huge thank you goes to everyone who sent in a nomination.
“Each and every one was wonderful and we wished we could have given everybody a prize. But we hope those who won thoroughly enjoy their prizes!”
