Funeral Operative, Karl Fletcher, from Doves Funeral Directors in Maidstone, joined 27,000 other cyclists on the fundraising bike ride from London to Brighton on 18 June which he completed in just under 6 hours.
The race began at 7:30am in London’s Clapham Common and saw the cyclists travel 54 miles to the centre of Brighton.
Raising money for the British Heart Foundation, Karl said: “I had been toying with the idea of doing the London to Brighton ride for a while.
“It took training, hard work and a lot of time, but I wanted the money I raised to be able to make a difference as heart disease is one of the biggest killers in the country.”
