Two members of the William H Painter team attended a Careers & Apprenticeship Fair at Solihull College & University Centre and were inundated with students eager to talk to them to learn more about a career in the funeral industry. Funeral Arranger Emma Welch and Funeral Director Vickie Bardell were proud to impart their knowledge and talk about their roles, hopefully inspiring the next generation of funeral professionals.
Emma said: ‘The students were engaging, polite and respectful towards us and the profession we represent and asked lots of questions. Hopefully this was a good opportunity to break down barriers.’
This is just one of the ways the team at William H Painter reaches out to their local community and hopefully they have inspired the next generation to consider a rewarding career in the funeral service industry.
