Funeral Director Marie Maylett and Funeral Arranger Luke Farrell from the Collyhurst branch provided some tasty Father’s Day treats for the residents of Mary & Joseph House in Ancoats.
The staff team were able to use the cakes to lay on two fabulous mini afternoon teas over a weekend which for many can be a difficult time of the year. Marie and Luke also took time out to find out more about the work Mary & Joseph House do taking in a tour of their facilities and speaking to residents.
Marie said “Building links with our local community is very important to us. We always look for ways we can give back and we enjoy meeting new people”.
Luke and Marie are looking forward to working with Mary & Joseph House again in the near future
