E Sargeant & Son takes part in Easter eggstravaganza!

Trustees, staff and volunteers from Home-Start Slough collecting the Easter eggs from E Sargeant & Son at Slough

Two very worthy local organisations are set to benefit, thanks to the charitable egg-collecting efforts of E Sargeant & Son Funeral Directors based in Slough and Maidenhead.

Nearly 200 chocolate Easter eggs were donated to the firm by generous well-wishers, including Slough Business Community Partnership, The Herschel Arms Public House, Mars, Record Currency Management, Church Street Cafe, St Mary’s Church, St Laurence’s Church and St Thomas’ Church.

E Sargeant & Son were also touched by the kindness of local families who donated eggs, some of whom were visiting to arrange funerals.

Home-Start Slough have collected over 150 eggs from E Sargeant & Son’s Slough branch whilst Maidenhead Foodshare will be the recipient of over 50 eggs. Both charities will distribute the Easter eggs to families in need in the local areas.

Funeral Director Abbie Reeve said: “We were thrilled that so many organisations and families supported our appeal for chocolate cheer this Easter.”

E Sargeant & Son was established in 1712 and is part of Funeral Partners Ltd, which has a reputation for quality of service, reliability and trust within the local community. E Sargeant & Son has branches in Slough, Maidenhead and Windsor.
