Terms & Conditions

  1. The promoter of this prize draw is W Storey Funeral Service. W Storey Funeral Service is a trading name of Funeral Partners Limited.
  2. The competition/prize draw starts on Friday 30th May 2025 at 5pm.  Entries received after 5.00pm on the 12th of June 2025 will not be accepted.
  3. The prize draw will be promoted on the Facebook page of W Storey Funeral Service. It is free of charge to enter the prize draw.
  4. There are 6 prizes that will be drawn, in the following order
    1. A voucher for The Three Fiddles to the value of £25
    2. A voucher for Deli-icious to the value of £10
    3. One bottle of Whiskey
    4. A plant donated by Shell’s Plants
    5. One bottle of red wine and a bottle of white wine
    6. Father’s Day themed biscuits donated by Deli-icious
    Prizes will be awarded in the order they are drawn and may not be exchanged for another prize.
  5. Where the prize consists of a voucher to be used at a specified merchant or service provider, additional charges may apply in order to receive the products and services available. W Storey Funeral Services, nor Funeral Partners Limited will be liable for any additional costs incurred, nor for the standard or the products and services or any failure to deliver the required services by the merchant or service provider.
  6. Members of the public (the nominator) can nominate a significant person (the nominated person) by tagging the nominated person’s name in the comments section of the W Storey Funeral Service Facebook post.
  7. Names tagged on shared Facebook posts will be excluded from the prize draw.
  8. Nominated persons must be contactable via Facebook.
  9. You must obtain freely given consent from the person you intend to nominate to add their name to the Facebook post. You must inform the person you intend to nominate that the winner’s name will be shared on Facebook, along with details of the prize.
  10. By nominating an individual, you are confirming that freely given consent has been obtained. W Storey Funeral Services nor Funeral Partners Limited will be liable for any matters resulting from a failure to comply with these terms and conditions.
  11. The prize draw is open to UK residents only, aged 18 and over only excluding those who may have a professional association with Funeral Partners Limited which includes, but may not be limited to, colleagues, families/friends of colleagues, third party agents or anyone else connected with Funeral Partners in a professional capacity.
  12. Incomplete and incorrect entries may not be accepted and no responsibility for any entries in this regard can be held against the promoter of the prize draw.
  13. Following the draw, the winner will be announced on the W Storey Funeral Service Facebook page. The winner will be contacted via Facebook.
  14. Entrants accept and agree that relevant personal data provided may be supplied during the course of this promotion to third parties insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.
  15. The Information on how we process your personal data is available in our privacy policy. A copy of our privacy policy is available by visiting www.funeralpartners.co.uk/privacy-policy or by requesting a copy from any of our funeral homes.
  16. If the winner does not respond within 30 days of being notified of a win, then the winner’s prize may be forfeited, and another participant may become eligible for the prize.
  17. Collection of the prize will be at a pre-arranged time at W Storey Funeral Services, 20 Redcar Road, Guisborough, TS14 8DB.   Proof of ID may be requested, and proof of age, in the form of a driving license, passport or other government approved ID will be required for anyone who appears to be under the age of 25.
  18. All prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  19. Funeral Partners Limited reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
  20. Funeral Partners Limited reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  21. The prize draw will be governed by UK law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the British courts.
  22. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry.
  23. Funeral Partners reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
