Widows Fund boosted by charitable donation

Here is Funeral Arranger Lisa Lurring presenting a cheque for £250 to the East Brighton Masonic Centre Widows Fund.

The cheque was given to Lisa by a client who had been so moved by Lisa’s support at a most difficult time that she wanted to make this gesture giving Lisa carte blanche to donate the money to a charity of her choosing.

Lisa’s dad had been a Mason for many years before passing away in 1999 and she remembers all the support they offered her family when he died especially her Mother so to donate the money to the Widows Fund was an easy decision.

Financial grants also help Masonic families who are unable to afford everyday living costs and to actively participate in their community.

Lisa presented the cheque to the president of the Widows Fund on Saturday 31st August where Lisa also gave a speech where she recalled her fond memories of Jerome Hall and thanked the client for her generosity.
