The local team at The Martins Funeral Directors were delighted to meet with Baby Loss United recently to present a Community Fund award in support of the organisation’s important work.
Baby Loss United provides a supportive environment for fathers affected by baby loss, bringing people together through football, friendship and shared experiences. By creating opportunities for connection and peer support, the organisation helps ensure that no one has to face their journey alone.
The Community Fund award will help towards the costs of pitch hire, training equipment and kit maintenance, enabling the group to continue providing support for fathers within the community.
Meeting the team gave colleagues from The Martins the opportunity to learn more about the difference Baby Loss United is making and the impact its work has on the lives of those who access its support.
The Martins Community Fund was established to support local organisations that make a positive contribution to the communities we serve, and Baby Loss United is a fantastic example of the difference grassroots groups can make.
