For several years, High Street Funeral Directors in Erdington has been supporting the charity, Inter Care Medical Aid for Africa, which provides vital medical aid to over 100 health units in Africa.
The branch’s most recent donation was received by the charity on 11 August 2017, which included various essential supplies including dressings, bandages, needles, and scissors.
Being a small charity, Inter Care Medical Aid for Africa relies heavily on the donations provided by health professionals and members of the public, to be able to support a population of around 10 million people in rural health units in Ghana, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Zambia.
Funeral Director Stephanie Mason said: “We are extremely proud to have supported such a wonderful organisation for many years. They are always very appreciative of everything we donate and we look forward to continuing to support them in the coming years.”
