Sandra’s leap of faith for the Rowcroft Hospice

Our brave Area Development Manager Sandra Murphy has abseiled down a 150-foot crane to raise money for the Rowcroft Hospice.

Sandra successfully conquered the adrenaline-fueled challenge despite the wet and rainy conditions.

By completing the challenge, Sandra raised £315 for the hospice, a charity which provides comfort, support and specialist services to patients living with life-limiting illness in South Devon.

She said: “We have worked closely with the Rowcroft Hospice for a number of years now, so when I saw their ‘Over the Edge’ abseil advertised, it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass by.

“As more than 70% of Rowcroft’s funding comes from fundraising and local donations, I wanted to raise money to help ensure the support they provide can keep going. The work they do is incredible and they really are such an amazing charity.”
