Remembering loved ones

As Christmas can be an extremely hard time for people who have lost a friend or family member, the team at T W Boorman Funeral Services held a remembrance service.

Locals came together for an afternoon of remembrance at Christ Church in Southborough, where they lit candles and read out their loved ones’ names.

After the service they all enjoyed a warm drink and a festive feast of mince pies and cakes.

Funeral Arranger/Administrator Sam Wasmuth said: “The afternoon was wonderful. Every year we invite families we have worked with and members of the local community to join us in remembering people who have passed away.

“It can be particularly hard around this time of year so coming together to remember and support others whilst enjoying a cuppa and a mince pie can mean so much to someone.”
