Patients at Southampton General Hospital enjoyed some Easter cheer, thanks to the charitable egg-collecting efforts of Paul Capper Funeral Directors and AH Rogers Funeral Directors.
Over 160 chocolate Easter eggs were donated by generous well-wishers, including local businesses and families who’ve been supported by our branches.
The eggs were presented to the Southampton Hospital Charity, who distributed the tasty treats, along with adult’s and children’s colouring books, to patients on the wards as well as to people in out-patients.
Phillip Hutchings, the funeral company’s Area Development Manager for Hampshire, said: “We were thrilled that so many people supported our appeal for chocolate cheer this Easter. It really does put a smile on the patients’ faces at the hospital.”
