A team of dedicated Mid-Kent colleagues have successfully completed the Hospice in the Weald Moonlight Walk, raising vital funds for a cause close to their hearts.
The group—Samantha Wasmuth, Tansy Smith, Jayne Springate, Jennie Ollive, Amanda Mitchell and Chris Hatt, Area Development Manager—joined hundreds of participants to complete the 4-mile route. Starting at Sevenoaks Rugby Club, the walk took them through the stunning surroundings of Knole Park, creating a memorable and meaningful experience for everyone involved.
Hospice in the Weald provides essential care and support for people nearing the end of their lives, along with invaluable guidance and comfort for their families. Known for its compassionate and peaceful approach, the hospice plays a vital role in supporting the local community during some of life’s most challenging moments.
For the Mid-Kent team, taking part was deeply personal. Through their work, they regularly collaborate with the hospice and have witnessed first-hand the difference its services make. For some, that connection extends beyond their professional roles, making their involvement even more significant.
Their efforts have already made a real impact, with the team raising an impressive £1,121. These funds will help support the hospice’s ongoing work, ensuring more individuals and families continue to receive the care, dignity and support they deserve.
The team’s commitment and generosity are a powerful reminder of the difference that can be made when people come together to support their community.
