HAVEN Funeral Arranger Michelle recently donated some of her time to volunteer at the St Thomas More Church Eastcote Lent soup day.
Parishioners donated £5 for homemade soup, bread, water , pickles and cheese and all the proceeds were donated to the Catholic Agency For Oversees Development (CAFOD) The Catholic Agency For Overseas Development is the Catholic aid agency for England and Wales.
It is an international aid agency working to alleviate poverty and suffering in developing countries.
Michelle was on hand to lay out tables in the hall, serve the food and tidy up afterwards and was even given a resounding round of applause by all in attendance to show appreciation for her time.
