Ledbury primary school gets creative

To help the children of Ledbury Primrary School celebrate Mother’s Day, Funeral Arranger Justin Hydes ran a Mother’s Day card competition at the school.

Justin provided the school with plain cards and gave the children one week to design their Mother’s Day card, the three winners were then chosen by Justin and the Mayor of Ledbury, Elaine Fieldhouse.

Justin returned to the school and awarded the winners a certificate, a box of chocolates and a big bouquet of flowers each to give to their mums.

He said: “I could tell the children really enjoyed taking part in the competition and it was actually quite hard to pick the three winners because I would have loved to give each child a prize.

“The three children who won were over the moon at the fact that they were able to give their mum a present, however, I’m not sure the boxes of chocolates would have made it home in one piece!”
