John Nodes Funeral Service remember those who lost their lives in the Grenfell Tower fire

This week our staff at John Nodes Funeral Service in North Kensington have joined with families and communities across London to remember those who lost their lives in the Grenfell Tower fire a year ago.

Last year our North Kensington staff were responsible for arranging and conducting eight funerals following this tragic fire. On Wednesday, the one-year anniversary, our Area Development Manager Hayley Carney and Funeral Director Robin Taylor-Jones were invited to a memorial mass which took place at St Francis of Assisi Church.

They felt honoured to have been invited and took the time to reflect with others on the tragedy which took 72 lives and changed the lives of so many more.

Last year, Hayley and Robin felt privileged to attend the Grenfell Tower National Memorial Service at St Pauls Cathedral. John Nodes Funeral Service also took in donations in support of the families affected and were truly overwhelmed by the generosity of the local community.

On Wednesday, the tower and other buildings across London were illuminated green in remembrance of those lost in the fire.

Grenfell, forever in our hearts.
