Home and Away for Donations

Funeral Arranger Helen Beresford is proudly supporting two on-going projects, one local and one overseas and appealing to the local community for their support.
Helen collects old or unwanted glasses to donate to Vision Aid. The charity recycles the metal and uses the money to build vision centres, train local eye care workers, and to deliver eye services to remote and isolated communities.
Helen recently donated 20 pairs of glasses to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and is busy collecting again. If you would like to donate please post or drop them into Helen at Old Bank, Church Street, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield HD7 5AR.
Slaithwaite branch is also a donation point for the Huddersfield Change Project, who provide much needed support to homeless people in Huddersfield. The project is especially in need of men’s and women’s toiletries, fruit juice cartons, bottled water, chocolate bars, instant coffee sachets and cereal bars.
