Funeral Arranger Helen Beresford from Slaithwaite Funeral Services brought a smile to many a mum’s face on Mother’s Day after creating beautiful posies of daffodils.

Helen, helped by her sister Angela and mum Pauline, created the posies mixed with fern and secured with a bow, and presented them to the Messy Church children and members of the congregation at Slaithwaite Methodist Chapel.

“It meant the children could give the posies to their mums and make them feel special,” said Helen, who volunteers for a number of important causes in the local community.

Helen, who helps with Meals on Wheels and supports various charities, is also a Street Angel, giving her time to keep the streets safe for late-night revellers.
